Competition with cards for balinjere organized by the group “Balini”, under the auspices of the Municipality of Sv. Filip i Jakov and the Tourist Board, on Saturday, February 14th, starting at 4:00 PM, in the center of Sv. Filip i Jakov, the winter masquerade edition of “Filipjanskih Balinjere” will be held.

FJAKA is a project launched in 2013 by film enthusiasts in Sv. Filip i Jakov, with the aim of promoting and popularizing marginalized works of world cinema in the horror and science fiction genre, more precisely, with the aim of introducing the audience to the history and development of genre films that were unavailable in existing cinema programs in this region. The desire was to revive the local cinema and point out the richness and relevance of film art, but also to revitalize the custom of going to the cinema as an important social moment.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The race starts near the football field in Turanj and immediately climbs a 3.2 km gravel ascent. The course includes a mix of gravel roads and technical singletrack sections, including Duboka Draga, Matuljeva Draga, and Trodrage trails.

Riders will face varied terrain with constant elevation changes, technical descents, and a rock garden section (Krkanski Trail). A feed zone is located at km 17.

At km 20, categories split (U18 & Women continue straight). The final section includes a 2.4 km climb and a technical descent (Prikorovica trail) before finishing on gravel near the start area.

The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Sveti Filip i Jakov proudly announces the 24th Zadar County Flower Festival, a traditional event that every year brings together lovers of flowers, horticulture and landscaping from the entire region.

The festival brings a rich exhibition and sales offer of flowers and seedlings, presentations by local producers, expert advice on growing and maintaining plants and an appropriate entertainment program. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the variety of colors and scents, view various arrangements and find inspiration for decorating gardens, terraces and balconies.

This event is being held for the 24th time, confirming its long-standing tradition and importance in promoting horticulture, landscaping and the Mediterranean identity of the destination.
