Flowers are always attractive and mood-lifting, giving a special romantic touch to each piece of garment.
The fashion show is a traditional part of the Flower Festival.
For a number of years now Zadar and Osijek Schools of Applied Arts have been presenting works of their talented students. Sabina Sokač, a designer from Varaždin, presented her collection of unique jewellery, while the 9th Flower Festival was marked by the show of original flower, brushwood and natural materials dresses. Decoration workshops organised by Kike from Dubrovnik presented flowers in an imaginative way.
The 10th Flower Festival hosted a fashion show by Mirjana Ojdenić, an avant-garde fashion designer from Kaštela. Children really enjoyed the fashion show by the designer Sabina Sokač who participated at the 11th Flower Festival with a children’s fashion show named „Bambi by Sabina“. The 12th Flower Festival hosted Mirna Lombarović Levaković from Vinkovci who combined traditional and modern elements and presented some ethnic creations of timeless beauty incorporating authenticity and modernity.
“Mozaik” flower shop from Osijek, led by Suzana Lonjak participated at the 13th Festival with the collection named „Floral Combinations” one of which was vividly worn by the young Croatian actress Doris Pinčić. The association Viola Odorata participated at the 14th Flower Festival with their creations accessorised by special brooch bouquets made by Nives Stančin from Bjelovar.
The fashion show, as part of the Flower Festival, has been prepared starting from the designer’s idea which was elaborated to the very last petal of flowers in order to present the beauty of flowers and fashion. This idea was recognised by the participants and visitors enjoying the floral atmosphere and the fashion show year after year.
