After a lovely sunny day on the seafront at Sv. Filip i Jakov gathered about 20 triatlonists ready for 2nd Sprint Triathlon ISLAND OF LOVE, and 10 or so children who participated in the Aquathlon.
Split student Liam O'driscool from England first crossed the second consecutive Sprint Triathlon Island of Love held in Sv. Filip i Jakov. The young Englishman is the 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and five kilometers of running took 1 hour and 7 minutes.
- This area, the Island of Love in the shape of heart and a picturesque hinterland, are wonderful, the organization was on the level, people are very friendly, helpful. I'll be back again, said the champion Liam.
He pointed out that these impressions compelling incentive for further study, as well as an easier way to new competition in this sports year.

From a woman's most successful was SANDRA MIHALJEVIĆ from TK Split with the result 1:33:17.
Since the two teams reported as successful relay team was the one from Split composed Damir PAVIĆ, Christian unions and TOMISLAV MIJATOVIĆ who arrived for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Relay is a combination SPLIT & HUNTERS. Second Team participated IVAN Pikunić (run), ROKO Pelicarić (swimming) from Sv. Filip i Jakov and ANTE KLANAC (touring) from Zadar with a 1 hour and 17 minutes.
Last came the oldest participant ARMANDO SPINELLI who participated only in the M70 category and section is mastered in less than 2 hours.
In aquathlons has been the most successful domestic Mate Vitali, another James Mrvičić, and the third Leo Batur.
The top three in the overall standings with the medals and get gift certificates from sponsors of Smit Commerce Lower Stupnik in which Filip and Jakov have apartments familly.
ŠKROKOVPLOV from Nevidjan sponsor is driving Pasman Channel, and the ride to the seafront at Sv. Filip i Jakov held on to the island Galešnjak - Island of love after which it was named Triathlon.
The event was organized by Triathlon Club Zadar, with the support of the Municipality of Sv. Filip i Jakov, Zadar County, Zadar County Tourist Board, Association of Napredak of Sv. Filip i Jakov, Ilirija Inc. Biograd, the Mare Nostrum hotel in Sv. Petar, Smith commerce Donji Stupnik and Škrokoplov from Neviđane.
This event fits into the PPS project - Croatia 365 whose task is to develop and extend the tourist season.
