 Flower Festival, organized by the Tourist board of Sv. Filip i Jakov, starts on Friday, 27th April in Sv. Filip i Jakov. All visitors will enjoy the presentation and the sale of flowers in all their colours, shapes, smells...and tastes until 30th of April.   
The beautiful setting of the Villa Donat hotel, as well as in the centre of the picturesque town, will  become a place where nature, sea and spring lovers gather and the centre of  special entertainment and music program. More than 100 participants will present their products: flower seedlings, souvenirs, artfully arranged flower installations and for picky palates ... flower flavours. Visitors can look around and buy flowers, participate in workshops, see an orchid exhibition, see many presentations and enjoy the cultural and entertainment program.
Fun is guaranteed  when the weekend starts with  Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni, includes  the     Klapa Iskon, and ends with Neno Belan.
It is time for you to experience  flowers in a completely new form: as a gastronomic delight in sweet and savoury versions whose tastes are prepared by Viola odorata, an association from Split.  
A fashion show has become an integral part of our Festival. Ethno-designer Mina Petra will present a sumptuous blend of tradition and contemporary design.
In order to create a perfect flower arrangement one needs more than just pretty flowers, the process requires plenty of imagination and skilful hands. Floral designer Nives Stančin Oros from Bjelovar and 3-5-8 Association from Zagreb will show us the arranging skill.
Traditionally, children participate in this Flower Festival and special emphasis is put on the development of ecological awareness and love towards nature. Every year, more than 200 kindergarten children participate on the promenade. Our youngest visitors can enjoy an imaginative children's program: creative workshops, magician and dance performances.
Enjoy the irresistible colours, fluttering dresses, the sun, the smell of flowers, the flight of butterflies and children's laughter. Flowers, in all their shapes, will be presented 27 – 30 April in Sv. Filip i Jakov, and all you have to do is smile and change the colour of the day. See you on the 17th Flower Festival!
